WESTFIELD: Robert F. Kelly, age 78, of Westfield, died on Friday, April 4, 2013 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. He was born in Holyoke, son of the late Charles Raymond and Catherine M.(Hannifin) Kelly and graduated from Holyoke High School and the University of Massachusetts. Bob was a United States Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. He worked at National Blank Book Company, and was President of Local 48 Graphic Arts Union. Bob was also the President of the Holyoke Central Labor Union. He was a Commissioner of the Holyoke Redevelopment Authority and the Holyoke Housing Authority. Bob was a Personnel Manager of General Offset Printing Company in Springfield MA and Human Resource Manager at Pearson Industries in Palmer MA. He is survived by his wife, Marian (Cantarella) Kelly, three daughters: Kathie Haynes and her husband Rob of New Braintree, Bobbie Bland of South Hadley and Pam Ferriter and her husband Mike of Southampton, six grandchildren: Bridget, Corey, Samantha, Jesse, Kelly and Reilly, four great grandchildren: Kora, Kash, Kaylyn and Olivia, a brother, Donald Kelly of Holyoke, three sisters-in-law: Lea Kelly of South Hadley, and Jo Gentry and Jenny Flores of Phoenix AZ, two brothers-in-law: Tony Cantarella and Wayne Cowan of Phoenix AZ, as well as many nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 7:45 from the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke, followed by a Mass in Blessed Sacrament Church, 1945 Northampton Street, Holyoke at 8:45 a.m. Burial will follow at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St. in Agawam. Calling hours will be held Monday April 8 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 311 Arsenal Street, Watertown MA 02472
