Maureen (Preston) Niquette

CHICOPEE: Maureen P. (Preston) Niquette, 81, of Chicopee, died Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Baystate Medical Center. She was born in Holyoke, daughter of the late Samuel J. and Mary E. (English) Preston, and was a graduate of Holyoke High School. Maureen was a retired Realtor for Landry Lyons and White in Chicopee, a communicant of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Holyoke, and a member of the Holyoke Hospital Marathon Bridge Club. She is survived by her husband, Joseph L. Niquette; a son, David P. Niquette and his wife Cynthia of Swans Island, ME; three daughters, Carol A. Baker and her husband Fred of Westborough, MA, Nancy L. D'Angelo and her husband Robert of Gloucester, MA and Susan E. Niquette of Belchertown. She also leaves her grandchildren, Ian and Carissa Baker, Joe, Chris and Carli D'Angelo, and Lauren LaBoursoliere and two sisters, Norah Preston of Holyoke and Helen Whitcomb of South Hadley. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 485 Appleton Street, Holyoke. Burial will follow in Forestdale Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701 or the Charity of one's choice.
