ROSINDALE: Sean A. Forrant, 50, passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 12th at his home in Roslindale, MA. Sean was born in Holyoke on October 27th, 1966. He was a graduate of Holyoke High School, Class of 1984, and was a proud member of the Holyoke High School marching band, having played the clarinet, trombone, bells, and sax. He thereafter received his Associates degree from Holyoke Community College. Sean worked in retail for many years at Eddie Bauer and Burberry before spreading his wings and moving to the city he loved, Boston. He pursued additional coursework at Bunker Hill Community College and proudly, successfully, completed advanced studies in Radiology to further his dream career with Boston Children's Hospital - where he was employed since 2003. As a Radiology Technologist, Sean brought much joy, strength, love, and laughter to the children, families, and staff that he worked with.
Sean's passion for his career, life, and travel, his love of family and friends, his charismatic personality, and uncanny sense of humor will leave a tremendous void in the lives of all who knew him. Sadly he leaves behind his Mom, Joyce, his brother, Tim (Timmy), his sister, Carrie, his sister, Beth (Bethy) and her husband, Joe Morin, his adoring nieces, Taylor, Chloe, Julia, Gabrielle, Elisha, and Hayden, and great nephew, Brayden, beloved feline friends, Cilo and Pimp, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and his extended family at Boston Children's Hospital. He also leaves behind his father, Richard and his wife, Diane, of Ct. and their daughter, Casey. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday February 18 at 10:00am in the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton St. Holyoke, followed by burial in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery, South Hadley. Calling hours will be held Friday from 4:00 to 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers and in Sean's memory, the family requests that donations be made to Boston Children's Hospital 300 Longwood Avenue, Boston, MA 02115. - See more at: http://obits.masslive.com/obituaries/masslive/obituary.aspx?n=sean-a-forrant&pid=184136421&fhid=15518#sthash.QR7wDHfN.dpuf
