HOLYOKE: Robert F. Wolohan, age 58, of Holyoke, died Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. He was born in Holyoke, a son of the late Robert M. and Joan (Grady) Wolohan and was a 1976 graduate of Holyoke High School. Bob graduated from Western New England College in 1981 and received his M.B.A. from UMass, Amherst in 1987. He was employed as a Financial Analyst at Pratt and Whitney a division of United Technologies Corporation for over 25 years. He was a member of Holyoke Lodge of Elks, #902 and a former member of the St. Patrick's Parade Committee. Bob is survived by his two daughters, Allison and her husband, Patrick Walsh and Kelly Wolohan, all of Holyoke; a sister, Mary Wolohan of Holyoke; six brothers, John and his wife Nicole of Manlius, NY, Daniel and his wife Patricia of Shrewsbury, Brian of Chicopee, Michael and Timothy of Holyoke and James of East Longmeadow as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, William Wolohan in 1981. Calling hours will be held Friday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street followed by a Mass at Blessed Sacrament Church at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be at a later date.
