HOLYOKE
Patricia A. (Maher) Wojcik, 80, of Delray Beach FL, passed peacefully into the arms of our Lord on December 25, 2016. Born in Holyoke to the late John T. and Esther (Obuchowski) Maher, Pat attended Sacred Heart High School and Trinity College. She was a member of the Junior League of Holyoke, and worked on several political campaigns. She was a Sales Associate for G. Fox and Filene's for many years, and worked at Morgan Elementary School, but her favorite activity was spending time with her grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Edward in 2013 and her grandson Adam in 2000. She is survived by a son, Edward Wojcik and his wife Jennifer of Long Beach, CA; three daughters, Mary Delaney of South Hadley, Chrissy Wojcik and her husband Andrew Larew of NY, and Marlene Reynolds and her husband Ian of Boston. She is also survived by her two sisters, Maureen Witek of Holyoke and Jacqueline Calkins of Towson, MD, as well as several nieces and nephews. Pat had eight grandchildren: Erin Brady, Ben, Allison, Teddy, Graham, Brodie, Jack and Sophie. The funeral will be held on Wednesday January 4, 2016 at 9:00AM in St. Patrick's Church, 30 Main Street, South Hadley, MA. Committal prayers will follow at 11:00AM in the chapel of the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery 1390 Main Street, Agawam. Calling hours are Tuesday January 3, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00PM at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton St. Holyoke. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Pat's favorite charity, akin to St. Jude Heart Valve that kept her with us for 17 more beautiful years.
