SPRINGFIELD: Maureen A. (Dean) House, 70, of Springfield, died Sunday January 29, 2017 at Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield. Maureen was born in Holyoke, daughter of the late Eugene and Nora (Fitzgerald) Dean, and graduated from the High School of Commerce in Springfield. She is survived by one daughter: Sharon L. House of Feeding Hills; three grandchildren: Alyssa Babin, Joseph Babin, and Kyle Albert; one great-grandchild, Ashton; five siblings: Pat Young, Jim Dean and his wife Kathy, Nancy Konis, Jack Dean and his wife Dianne, and Mickey Dean; a sister-in-law Ella Dean; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Eugene Dean and sister Barbara Dean. A funeral mass will be held Friday at 10:00am in Blessed Sacrament Church, 1945 Northampton St. Holyoke. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held Friday from 8:30 to 9:30am at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke.
