HOLYOKE
Mary Pat (Kelleher) Furlani, 78, of Holyoke, died February 3, 2017 at Holyoke HealthCare Center, with her children and caregivers at her side. She grew up in Springfield and graduated from Cathedral High School in 1955. She lived in South Hadley for 18 years before moving to Holyoke in 1982. Mary Pat retired from the Holyoke Medical Center billing department; she had also worked for Mass Mutual, Springfield Newspapers, and the Wall Street Journal. She was a communicant of Holy Family and Blessed Sacrament Churches. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Lauretta (Driscoll) Kelleher, and her sister, Regina Griffin. Mary Pat is survived by her son, Bobby, and daughter, Kathy Marcinek, as well as her cherished grandchildren, Jeffrey Marcinek (Harrison, TN) and Katie Marcinek (Thompson Station, TN). Her family wishes to thank the staff of Holyoke Healthcare Center for their excellent and compassionate care over the past year and New England Hospice for making her comfortable. Per her wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Donations in her memory may be made to a domestic violence organization or charity of choice. The Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
