Mary Marina (Barrett) Healy, 97, of Holyoke, passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, January 31, 2017. She was born in Holyoke, daughter of the late Patrick J. and Anna C. (Smith) Barrett and graduated from Holyoke High School in 1937 and Northampton Commercial College in 1939. Marina worked at Magna Buick in Holyoke, and later was a Buyer at Providence Hospital for twenty-three years, retiring in 1985. She belonged to the Saint Maria Garetta Circle of the Holyoke Day Nursery, and was a communicant of Saint Jerome Church. Marina was predeceased by her husband, Bernard F. Healy, a daughter Marina Healy, a son Patrick J. Healy and his wife Peggy, a sister, Anna Barrett, and her Godson, Father John Varley. She is survived by a daughter, Anne C. Tucker and her husband Tom of Holyoke; two sons: Francis X. Healy and his wife Gloria of Holyoke, Bernard P. Healy and his wife Mary of Holyoke; eleven grandchildren: Joanne O'Toole (Patrick), Michael Tucker (Jennifer), Daniel Tucker (Victoria), Deborah Gilmore (Thomas), Kara Dahn (Paul), Matthew Healy (Patrice), John Healy (Janara), Patrick Healy (Liz), Michael Healy (Kim), Patrick Healy (Karen), and Brendan Healy; twenty-two great grandchildren: Marina, Patrick, Daniel, Marissa, Ryan, Katie, Nora, Jack, Andrew, Katie, Maddie, Harrison, Garrett, Libby, Emily, Jack, Henry, Mia, Keira, Abigail, Patrick, and Emerson. The funeral will be held Saturday morning at 8:00 from the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, followed by a Mass in Saint Patrick Chapel of Saint Jerome Church, 169 Hampden Street, at 9:00 a.m. Burial will be in Saint Jerome Cemetery.
