Janet M. (Boisselle) Bergeron, 64, of Southampton, passed away on Monday, December 19th, 2016 at Cooley Dickinson Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Holyoke, daughter of the late Alfred and Lillian (Noiseux) Boisselle, and was educated in Holyoke schools. Janet was a longtime manager at New England Telephone Co., AT&T, and Lucent Technologies, retiring in 2001. After retirement, she began a second career as a real estate agent for Coldwell Banker. Janet enjoyed attending all of her granddaughter's activities and sporting events, and spent many hours creating Sailor's Valentines. She took a lot of pride in caring for her late mother and touched the hearts of everyone she met. Janet is survived by her husband of 44 years, Arthur L. Bergeron; a son, Scott Bergeron and his wife Lisa of Easthampton; a daughter, Beth Bagg and her husband Christopher of Warren; four grandchildren: Shelbie Bergeron, stationed with the United States Navy in Washington State, Brielle Bergeron of Easthampton, Olivia Bagg and Madelyn Bagg, both of Warren; a brother, Robert Boisselle of Florida; two sisters; Sandra Lepage and her husband Henry of Aldenville, and Joyce Hogan of Fairview; as well as several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held Friday, December 23rd at 8:45am from the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton St. Holyoke, followed by Mass at 10:00am in Ste. Rose de Lima Church, 600 Grattan St. Chicopee. Burial will be held in Ste. Rose de Lima Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00pm. Donations may be made to Ste. Rose de Lima Parish, 600 Grattan St., Chicopee, MA 01020.
