Bridget (Farrell) Fournier, age 82, of Holyoke, passed away peacefully Sunday January 8, 2017 at Willimansett Center East. Bridget was born in Cahir, County Tipperary, Ireland on August 10, 1934, daughter of the late William and Margaret (Lube) Farrell, one of 17 siblings. She met her late husband, Bernard E. Fournier, from Holyoke, in England, married in Ireland, and came to Holyoke in 1958. Bridget was a parishioner of the former Sacred Heart Parish in Holyoke. She is survived by three children: Colleen Sandrini of Pittsfield, MA, Kathleen Pellerin of Adams, MA, and Thomas M. "Tom" Fournier of Grosse Pointe, MI; six grandchildren: Kasandra Bergeron, Kyla White, Denis Pellerin, Keith Pellerin, Eric Pellerin, and Colleen Fournier; two great-grandchildren: Emma Bergeron and Natalia Dominguez; and many nieces nephews, including Katie Shaw of England. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, January 13th at 11:00 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, 427 Maple St., Holyoke. Please omit flowers. Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
