CHICOPEE: Audrey M. (Bigelow) Baer, 81, of Chicopee, passed away Wednesday January 25, 2017 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. She was born in Montpelier, VT and had lived here most of her life. Audrey was a longtime Nurse's Aide at the Marian Center in Holyoke, retiring in 1998. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur C. Baer in 1983, her mother Nina (Bigelow) Hanley, and her step-father, Thomas Hanley. Audrey is survived by a son, Albert T. Baer and his wife Arlene of Chicopee; two daughters: Cynthia A. Michon and her husband Stephen, and Betty Masse and her husband Kevin, all of Chicopee; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Tuesday January 31 at 11:00am in the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton St. Holyoke. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Springfield. Calling hours will be held Tuesday morning from 9:00 to 11:00am.
