Ziggy was a generous and caring friend. I know many kids in the city, Old and Young, will miss him. He photographed events and gatherings and was a very recognized person. Everywhere we went people would say" Hey your the guy from the paper, will you take my photo again". He truly was an unsung hero. His work came first, and there was No Limit on the time or effort he made. I hope People will remember him, I know I will.

I was lucky enough to work with Ziggy in Holyoke. He knew everyone in town, covered every big event, and enjoyed himself immensely. The Kennedys might have been marching in the parade, but it was Ziggy who was the real star.

I've worked with a lot of people over the years, and Ziggy was one of the best. He was always there when you needed him, always came through in the clutch, and always had a smile on his face. I have many fond memories. My thoughts go out to Elaine and the rest of his family at this difficult time.

Mr. Sears was a classmate of my Mom's - her name is Mary Donahue, maiden name, Motroni. I would just like to say to his family that we are very sorry for your loss. I met Mr. Sears at one of my Mom's high school reunions. God Bless..
